Dimensions are for the KF-generation CX-5 (2017–2024). The current (post-2025) CX-5 generation has different dimensions and is a separate, not-yet-added record. Width-between-wheel-arches (1050mm), height (827mm) and both depth figures (897/1715mm) are confirmed by carsguide.com.au's dedicated boot-space page and independently cross-checked against Mazda USA's official 2017 CX-5 spec deck (news.mazdausa.com) and a Mazdas247 owner-forum post quoting the same official spec sheet. CONFLICT (see Conflict Report): AU volume was previously recorded as 438L/1340L from an older carsguide Q&A page; two independently-checked AU sources (carsguide's boot-space page and whichcar.com.au) now both state 466L/1594L for the same generation — updated to the better-corroborated 2-source figure. Boot opening width/height (1125/780mm) and max cargo width (1448mm) come from Mazda's official US-market 2017 spec deck (cross-market, not AU-confirmed, but the same document's width-between-tire-house figure matches the AU-verified 1050mm almost exactly, supporting transferability). Load floor height not published by any source checked (Mazda notes this generation has an adjustable dual-level boot floor, which may be why no single figure is quoted).
